Sarah Palin
is The Next Great One
I was in my teens and twenties when
Ronald Reagan became president. I remember the attacks when he ran in
both 1976 and 1980. Those who didn't like him roasted him mercilessly.
They called him a B grade actor. They said he knew nothing about
politics, and that all of his speeches were written for him to "act"
out. They said that he's not intelligent. They said he incited hate and racial
bigotry. They said he wasn't a good father. Do these sound similar to the things they are now saying about Sarah Palin?
It's 1976 again. Jimmy "Barack Obama"
Carter has been elected president.

According to the left, Ronald Reagan was ane extremist. He opposes big government and government run health care. Sarah Palin is now being painted as an extremist. She opposes big government and government run health care. They were both marginalized as intellectual lightweights. He was Bedtime for Bonzo. She's Caribou Barbie.
Yet, they both excited people. They drew followings without the help of the mainstream media or party elites. They appealed directly to the people.
Ronald Reagan's rallies were incredible.
People flocked to them and watched the candidate, their eyes glazed and glued to his, their mouths opened in awe, thrills running up their spines.
Sarah Palin rallies were incredible.
People flock to them in droves. They watch the candidate, their eyes glazed and glued to hers, their mouths opened in awe, thrills running up their spines.
Reagan came so close to being president and vice president at the 1976 convention. Palin came so close to the vice presidency too. The other party won. Then it was over.
But was it really?
1980 is just four years away and the
liberals are scared:
